Bay Area Resilient Libraries Network Initiative - Informational Workshop

Please join us for an informational workshop to learn more about the Bay Area Resilient Libraries Network Initiative and how to participate. Following the workshop, BayREN is hosting a free Equitable Community Engagement Training tailored for the initiative by the American Society of Adaptation Professionals (ASAP) from 10:30-noon.

Who should attend the Resilient Libraries Network informational workshop?

Local government, office of emergency services and library staff and relevant community partners who are interested in learning more about the benefits of participating in the initiative and the application process. During the workshop, BayREN will provide an overview of the application process and criteria to participate as well as pre-application support provided by BayREN partners. Workshop participants will also have an opportunity to ask clarifying questions and to request specific pre-application support.

Who should attend the Equitable Community Engagement Training?

The training is open to any local government staff who have interest in learning about best practices in equitable community engagement. The training will be led by the American Society of Adaptation Professionals and will provide guidance tailored for Resilient Libraries Network Initiative.
